The 2005 USP Badminton Cup kicked off with a colorful parade of teams and players last November 19, 2005 at the Centro Atletico badminton courts. Over 144 players representing 9 teams in 8 different class levels participated in the tournament organized by the Architects Badminton Federation (ABF). Teams representing the 9 equally-major sponsors of the USP tournament included Metro Shutters, Philmetal, Philflex, Eurotiles, Boysen, EVG, HCG, republic Powdercoat, and Vesbo.
