Sy Best in ABC All Events Singles

Nick Sy of Main Hardware burned the lanes to win pulling away in Group 1 of the all events singles scratch held last week at the Green Valley Country Club, Dante Manglicmot of CPAC Monier and Nonoy de Jesus of Philflex Wires and Cables grabbed the 1st and 2nd runner-up honors respectively. In Group 2, May Sabater of Boysen Paints edged Joan Mendoza of Westmont Builders by just 2 pins to win the top honors while Abe Firmeza of Northeast Engineering finished a far third. Greg Mare of Crown Pipes bested Romy Borja of EFJ Woodworks to rule Group 3 while Edging San Juan of BAC Philippines took the 2nd runner-up honors.

Meanwhile the weekly tournament backed by American Standards, Emerald Pipes, Philflex Wires and Cables, Crown Pipes, ABC Phils., www.arkispecs.com, Samitrade Inc., Apo Puyat Vinyl, DN Steel, HCG, Koten Enterprises, Multiline, Unitec Pipes, James Hardie, Eurotiles, CPAC Monier, ECO-System Technology and Rider Hunt Liacor, resumes at 7 pm, March 8, 2005 with the staging of the Lou Antonio Farewell Cup. The one day tournament includes singles, doubles, 4-man team and masters events. Other supporters of the tournament are Main Hardware, Atlanta, Acecom Bulders, Concrete Solutions, Westmont Builders, Northeast Engineering, Interlink construction, LSM Steel Inc, EFJ Woodwrks, AECRETE Panel System, Manila Colors, Global Brands, Summa Kumagai, Hi Cool Engineering Corporation and Aalborg White.
