The United Architects of the Philippines – District A4 held its District outing on March 27, 2010 in Corregidor.

Members of the District, led by District Director Arch. Tito Antonio of the UAP – Camanava Chapter, visited some of the structures destroyed or damaged by Japan’s bombardment of the island during World War II, the “batteries” or groups of artillery guns used by the Filipinos and Americans who defended the island, as well as the Pacific War Memorial. Some district members also “experienced” the sight and sounds of WWII at the light and sound show at the Malinta Tunnel.

A photo contest – entitled “Capture Corregidor” – was also held, with the awarding of winners to be held during the District’s Joint Induction and Turnover Ceremonies in July.
