ANVAYA MEANS FAMILY (UAP Diliman Family Day 2009)

Diliman Chapter spent a cheerful sunny Friday last May 15 for their annual Family Day event at the Anvaya Cove Beach and Nature Club, Morong, Bataan.
Anvaya Cove is Ayala Land, Inc.’s (ALI) first leisure community that is only minutes away from the Subic Freeport Zone. The project site has approximately 320 hectares of land area, with about half a kilometer coastline and two private coves. Its peak elevation is 130 meters above sea level, and has rolling hills of mango and narra trees and bamboo groves as well. It follows the principle of Low Impact Development, which strives to preserve the natural beauty of the site. Guidelines are set to ensure that development adapts to the natural beauty of the land, and preservation of wide-open spaces. An “Asian Tropical” motif inspires the architectural character of its buildings and facilities.
Diliman member Marly Laraya is also Anvaya Cove’s Project Development Manager for Customer Experience. She shares the joy of fulfilling the creation of “a place where families can have a real bonding moment and memories that will last them a lifetime”.
Members were greeted with sumptuous meals before basking under the sun. “The beach is heavenly”, says Ann Espina, who like the rest of us came with our broods of family members and friends. We enjoyed the rest of the day feasting with more food and fun ‘til sun-down.
Incoming officers for 2009-2010 led by Chapter President Florencio Sebastian III stayed behind for the annual planning session that lasted until the following day.
